The Project for the New Uffizi
Organisation and prevention measures
The Uffizi site is comprised of six homogenous areas of intervention, each broken down into one or more work sites (operational lots). For each of these the following features have been identified: the logistic areas of support for the installation of the materials and the equipment, the boundaries, the routes connecting with the working areas (direct links or via scaffolding, elevators etc.), the entrance and exit routes etc. The individual work sites have been divided for functional and operational reasons into one or more environmental units
(U.A.).
